By downloading and using the Dearborn Labs AI Chief of Staff Setup Wizard (“Wizard”), you acknowledge and agree to the following:
No Warranty; As-Is Delivery
The Wizard and any AI configuration it generates are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Dearborn Labs, Inc. (“Dearborn Labs”) does not warrant that the Wizard will be error-free, uninterrupted, or produce accurate outputs. The configuration package generated by the Wizard is installed locally on your machine by an autonomous AI process; Dearborn Labs makes no representation that this installation will be compatible with your system, software environment, or organizational IT policies.
AI Limitations and Output Risk
The AI Chief of Staff configuration generated by the Wizard relies on large language model technology. AI systems can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading outputs. You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and supervising any AI-generated output before acting on it. Nothing generated by an AI Chief of Staff configured through this Wizard constitutes legal, financial, regulatory, or compliance advice.
Agentic and Subagent Behavior
AI systems configured through this Wizard operate in an agentic capacity, meaning they can take sequences of actions, make decisions, and delegate tasks to subagent processes with limited or no human intervention at each step. Subagents may act outside the scope of permissions you intend to grant to the primary agent. Once installed, your AI Chief of Staff operates entirely on your local machine under your control. Dearborn Labs has no ability to monitor, audit, correct, or intervene in agent or subagent behavior after installation. You are solely responsible for reviewing all permission scopes, monitoring agent behavior, and implementing appropriate human oversight controls within your own environment.
Your Responsibility for Deployment
You are solely responsible for how you deploy, configure, and use any AI Chief of Staff in your organization. This includes compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing your business, including insurance regulations, data privacy laws, and any AI governance requirements applicable to your industry or jurisdiction. You are also responsible for ensuring that installation of configuration files into your local environment complies with your organization’s IT security and acceptable use policies.
Data Handling
In connection with your use of the Wizard, Dearborn Labs may collect certain information you provide, including your name, email address, company name, role, and configuration preferences. This information may be used by Dearborn Labs for purposes including product improvement, communications, and service delivery. If you elect to receive your configuration package by email, your email address will also be transmitted to our third-party email delivery provider solely for the purpose of delivering your configuration package. By using the Wizard, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described here.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dearborn Labs, Inc. and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Wizard or any AI configuration it generates, including damages resulting from AI outputs, agent actions, data loss, or unauthorized access. Dearborn Labs assumes no liability whatsoever in connection with this download or any AI configuration generated through the Wizard, and your use is entirely at your own risk.
